Charity C. Cowgill
My name is Charity, but a lot of people call me CC. (It has something to do with my initials and the fact that, that is the nickname that my Uncle Herby gave me.) Here are the most common questions people ask me , and their answers.

How many brothers and sisters do you have?
I have 3 brother and 2 sisters, of which I am the oldest.
How many Nieces and Nephews do you have?
Between all five of my siblings, I have 20. 13 boys and 7 girls. They range in age from 21 years to 8 months.
How tall are you?
I am 5' 1.5" tall.
What color is your hair and eyes?
I have blondish-brown hair, that I like to color red occasionally, and hazel eyes. The only one of us six kids to have Hazel eyes like my father.
When is your birthday?
December 20th.
Where do you live?
Benton Harbor, Michigan
What do you believe is a big thing in your life?
I believe God and Trust are a big thing. If you can't trust someone then it is not worth spending the time on him or her. I am the kind of person that trusts and respects every one and demand the same from others. My parents say that I have a big heart like my grandmother had. I have been happy with myself for a while now and have gained some of my confidence and self-esteem back. Without God, None of this would have been possible.
What do you do in your spare time?
I love to read books, draw landscapes, work on the computer and work on my websites and Photographing Nature. I love going to the movies, (but won't go to any rated 'R') and going out to eat. I like to take long walks on the beach, or just take my pup for a walk. I also like to just hang with my friends.
Have you ever been outside of the state of Michigan?
Yes, I spent 2 weeks with my grandparents on my mother's side when I was 9 and we went to Florida. I have also been to Kentucky, and Tennessee, quite a few times. In 1997 I went to Fort Collins Colorado. I was there in the middle of that flood they had that year. And trust me when I say we were literally trapped in the Moby Arena all night long. The next night when we went back to the Moby Arena a lot of people brought sleeping bags incase it happened again. I went to New Mexico on a mission’s trip a few years after that and we visited a lot of states going to and coming from New Mexico. That’s the farthest west I have ever been.
What do you think about church?
I have a few friends that go to a Lutheran church. My self I am a Free Methodist, and I go to the Watervliet Free Methodist. I think church is great. A person should at least go to church more then twice a month but that is just my opinion.
What are your nicknames/Net Names?
Well let's see, I have quite a few names that I go by. I am not going to list them all here but I will give you the ones that I go by the most: CC, Zebra319, and Mystery Freak (This is a name a few of my friends gave me because of all the mystery books I read.)
Who are your best friends?
Jammerlea, Angela, KC, Brytestar, Bunny, and Souls (These are all nick names so as to protect my friends identities)

Started in 1998, as Corzoconia Web Design and Productions, I decided to start doing web design and photography. In 2007, thanks to my Cousin, Barbara Chamberlain, my web design really took off when she got me the position of web designer for the Cowgill Cousins Of America and even more when I started designing for The Lions Club in Aptos California. In 2009, She asked me to start designing a few websites for her. One of those was based off of the mystery books that Barbara wrote. I created websites and did photography for almost 15 years for Barbara, and loved every single minute of it. This ended in 2020 when Barbara was diagnosed with cancer. Unfortunately, Barbara passed away February 2, 2024, Just 24 hours before my Dad, Albert Thomas Cowgill, passed away
In September of 2023, I started looking for a shorter name. Something that would reflect me, in my work and name. Thanks to the Canon Camera Photography group, on Facebook, I got so many suggestions and so much support for the changing of my name.
And thus, Crystal Rose Photos was born.
My middle name is Crystal, I love White Roses, and I love to take photos.
